STARNET study info
STARNET is a study of RNA expression in disease-relevant tissues from living patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD). Patients were eligible if they were scheduled for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
Northern European Caucasian patients were 31% female. Of these patients, 32% had diabetes, 75% hypertension and 67% hyperlipidemia, and 33% had a myocardial infarction before age 60.

QTL Analyses
The FunGen-xQTL flagship paper used STARNET datasets in this xQTL analysis.
| Dataset | Modality | QTL File |
|---|---|---|
| Macrophage RNA-seq | eQTL | STARNET_macrophage_qtl |
The flagship paper also used these datasets for fine-mapping (syn69670592), TWAS models (syn69670600) and colocalization (syn69670597, syn69865816).
