Knight-ADRC study info
The Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (Knight-ADRC) at Washington University in St. Louis collects plasma, CSF, fibroblast, neuroimaging, clinical and cognitive data over time, along with autopsied brain samples. Combined with deep molecular phenotyping (genetic, proteomic, transcriptomic and others), these data help identify genetic modifiers, protective variants, molecular biomarkers and new targets. Participants were recruited by the Knight-ADRC. At enrollment they are at least 65 years old and have no memory problems or mild dementia.

- Study name : Charles F. And Joanne Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (Knight-ADRC)
- Study Description : The search for novel risk factors and genetic modifiers for Alzheimer disease relies on the access to accurate and deeply phenotyped datasets. The Memory and Aging Project at the Charles F. And Joanne Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (Knight-ADRC at Washington University in St. Louis) collects collects plasma, CSF, fibroblast, neuroimaging clinical and cognition data longitudinally and autopsied brain samples. This clinical information combined with deep molecular phenotyping (i.e. genetic, proteomics, transcriptomics and others) will lead to the identification of novel genetic modifiers, protective variants, molecular biomarkers and the novel targets. Participants were recruited by the Knight-ADRC at Washington University in St. Louis.

QTL Analyses
The FunGen-xQTL flagship paper used Knight ADRC datasets in these xQTL analyses.
| Dataset | Modality | QTL File |
|---|---|---|
| Brain bulk RNA-seq | eQTL | Knight_ADRC_brain_expression_qtl |
| Brain RNA splicing | sQTL | Knight_ADRC_brain_splicing_qtl |
| Brain methylation | mQTL | Knight_ADRC_brain_methylation_qtl |
| Brain proteomics | pQTL | Knight_ADRC_brain_proteomics_qtl |
The flagship paper also used these datasets for fine-mapping (syn69670592), TWAS models (syn69670600) and colocalization (syn69670597, syn69865816).
